Think I found a 0:18 strat.

Можливо я трохи гальмую. Але Жовтий колір взагалі не видно.  Як щодо змінити його на червоний?

(+3)

Love the name Big Boy Boxing!

(+8)

Really like the style and brings back that old aesthetic of Punch Out. As everyone else has said, the opponents punch so fast to the point where I can not dodge their punches. Cheers!

(+6)

As a Punch-out enthusiast, I'm looking forward to this. Like others have said the punching and dodging are a little unresponsive. If you removed some end-lag on the punches or added a dodge cancel window, I feel the experience would greatly improve. Keep it up, I'm excited.

I loved this too!

(+6)

Looks Awesome i really like the idea, keep working on it please!

(+5)

Looks good and the concept is great, But the dodging and ducking are kind of unresponsive and slow when they do work

Would definitely play when fully out but those issues need fixed first

(+5)

Great stuff! Looks well and plays even better, truly a great comeback to a long forgotten area of gaming

Great animations. Would love to play a punch-out game like this. But the boxers' animations are too... fast? I managed to avoid being punched only once in a sequence of like 7 re-matches. I think this needs to be fixed to make the game enjoyable.

(+3)

Oh god I love hank.

(+5)

Well, you've delivered on everything you've promised! This looks great, it sounds great, it's funny,  and it's tough as hell! I'm looking forward to playing more of this!!

(+6)

I love it! I hope it comes out of alpha soon. Keep going!

Im loving the game so far.

Cant wait to see what other bosses or enemies come!

(+8)

Looks amazing! The only thing that bothered me is that I simply could not dodge the forward punch. Like, never. When you notice the clues, you're already hit. I managed to dodge it I few times by mistake, and that's how I beat the demo, but if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have beaten it.

Or maybe I'm just REALLY bad idk

But really everything just FEELS good. For an alpha test, it's extremely well polished and I had a blast! (even if I had difficulties).

Can't wait to see where this project goes!

(+4)

Try dodging the forward punch by dodging right it works for me pretty consistently. idk why though.

(+2)

Might try it later, thanks for the advice!

(+3)

no problem.

i love games that play like punch out, but i do have one issue, this could be easily on me for not being good enough but i do not get the tell for the boss's forward punch, i see one frame where his left glove turns red but by the time i notice that by the time i hit the dodge or duck button he's hit me already, he also seems to make noises before the attack so i tried to time it to that too, that worked a little better my character can be seen dodging to the left a bit but i guess I'm still off since it's still hits, again love the game and seemingly by the comments no one else is having this issue, but don't worry I'm still trying to find a way to dodge this punch properly

btw i noticed the boxer follows your movements that is a very nice touch that i just noted while fighting this guy. another thing i noticed is you can block in this game but since there is no animation or sound when you block an attack and the tutorial doesn't tell you about it and since can just hold it to block all of the boxer's attacks I'm guessing it's just an incomplete or dropped feature.

Also i might have a glitch to tell you about occasionally if you punch seemingly at the same time at the opponent both your punch and your opponent's misses, just wanted to explain that.

lastly i really hope this game gets competed and takes all the time necessary to make it the best game it can be.

i figured out how to dodge the forward punch: you dodge right not left, that's so weird though why can't you dodge the same punch by dodging left?

Reminds me a lot of Punch-Out in how it plays. Reminds me a lot of Cuphead in how it crushes my soul. This alpha was great, I enjoyed the difficulty, the gameplay, and how "out there" the opponent was. Can't wait to see the finished game!!

(+2)

i kept gettin' grounded till i stopped spamming punches recklessly. most polished gameplay i've seen ina alpha v1. pixelart is cool too, only problem is that i want more of it, must take long time to drew.

(+4)

yo like even for a demo this is clean and fun just to play even tho one fight but its still fun nether the less

! SPOILER ALERT !

Just play the demo, it's like 10 minutes long.
I'm very fortunate to be a early supporter of this amazing project. This demo is a satire on that handholding in modern games. The demo starts out very handholding, and you think for a second it's just going to be style over substance. But when the hobo appears you are forced down on the ground because you DO NOT expect a hobo to live inside a boxing bag and also for him to be so capable of boxing. The Coach even runs in fear as he is aware of the impending danger. It's almost like a jab (excuse the pun) at how ineffective tutorials can be? Then every retry you consistently get better by learning not to be to greedy with your body blows and instead redirect your attention on reading your opponent's animations! Also how can you not appreciate the irony with piles of boxes in a place where you box? Subtle genius.

5/5
